Krista Martin Supernatural Obituary, Narragansett RI, Assistant Director At DGC BC Has Died – The world obits

Krista Martin Supernatural Obituary, Death – Krista Maureen Martin of Narragansett, who was the chief practitioner and author of that philosophy, passed away peacefully at home on November 30, 2023, with her loved ones by her side. She was 44 years old. Rita and Shawn Martin gave birth to Krista in Providence; the family later relocated to Westerly, a place Krista called home for the better part of three decades. She earned four varsity letters in softball, basketball, and soccer before graduating from WHS in 1997, placing sixth in her class. For five years, beginning in eighth grade, she marched in the Clinton Inaugural Parade in Washington, DC, as a member of the WHS Marching Band. This was the most significant thing to her.

Krista joined the Rhode Island College Rhody Marching, Concert, and Pep Bands upon enrolling in the electrical engineering program. She made friends for life through her band. Relocating to Munich, Germany, she spent her fifth year of college enrolled in the International Engineering program. If you want to study engineering, Krista says, “you do it in Germany.” Upon completing her degree at URI, Krista accepted a position with the Department of Defense at Newport’s Naval Undersea Warfare Center.

A strong desire to travel, see different cultures, and make new friends emerged in her at some point. She was an avid fan of many international bands, including Incubus, Sevendust, 311, the Chili Peppers, Our Lady Peace, and many more. She finally discovered her paradise in 2005. After debuting on television, the supernatural drama Supernatural soon started hosting conventions all over the globe. By 2023, Krista had visited eighty-seven of them. Fans from all over the world, including the UK, Italy, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Ireland, and the US, became her personal friends with the cast and crew.

The entire Supernatural weekend in DC was formally renamed KristaCon in honor of Krista when the cast and crew of the SPN show learned of her terminal illness and her determination to attend one more convention. While Krista is away, her parents and brother Shawn Michael are with their five kids—Connor, Caleb, Owen, Natalie, and Andrew—and their wife Sara, who is Krista’s best friend. Several cousins, aunts, and uncles, as well as her longtime housemate and best friend Aaron Douglas, will also miss her.

By donating her body to the Dana Farber “rapid autopsy” research program, Krista has completed her act of selfless generosity and will ensure that the study of Metastatic Melanoma continues.
