Joseph Guillermo Jones II, better known by his professional name Jim Jones, is a renowned American rapper, music video director, and record executive. He is also one of the initial members of the hip hop collective the Diplomats, better known as Dipset, alongside his friend and fellow Harlem mate, Cam'ron. The rapper was born to his parents on July 15, 1976, in New York City, USA.

Most of his songs were chartbusters and gave him immense recognition. However, he halted his career for the time being and returned in May 2019 with his sixth album, El Capo.
