Just moments after Barbie's Ryan Gosling had the entire Oscars crowd singing and dancing along to his highly-anticipated rendition of "I'm Just Ken," Best Actress winner Emma Stone admitted she had maybe gotten a little too into the Kenergy while accepting her award.
The Poor Things actress, who's previously starred alongside Gosling in La La Land and Crazy Stupid Love, suffered an unexpected wardrobe malfunction when she got put on the mic for an iconic sing-along moment during the actor's live performance on Sunday, March 10.
When Stone was called to the stage to accept her Best Actress Academy Award, the visibly shocked star started fidgeting with the back of her strapless mint Louis Vuitton peplum gown. Presenters Michelle Yeoh, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Lange, and Sally Field quickly came over to try to fix her zipper. "My dress is broken," she informed the crowd as she stepped up to the microphone. "I think it happened during 'I'm Just Ken.' I'm pretty sure."
Stone, who won for her role as Bella Baxter in Poor Things, was visibly emotional as she accepted the award, calling out her fellow nominees – Lily Gladstone for Killers of the Flower Moon, Sandra Hüller for Anatomy of a Fall, Annette Bening for Nyad, and Carey Mulligan for Maestro – during her emotional speech.

"I’m in awe of you," she told her fellow actresses, tearing up. "It has been such an honor to do all this together. I hope we get to do more together.” Stone also took a moment to thank her co-stars, her husband, and her daughter, Louise, during her speech with an adorable shout-out: "I love you bigger than the whole sky, my girl," she said.
While it might not have been the Oscars acceptance moment Stone expected, she didn't let a little wardrobe malfunction dampen the moment. Before heading off stage, the Cruella actress took a moment to hug Lawrence and jokingly told viewers, "Don’t look at the back of my dress" as she walked away with her trophy.
