Chantel Everett shared an update on Instagram, revealing: “I have finally reached the OK point of life,” while eating sushi by herself. The caption wrote: “Embracing the ‘OK’ moments in life.”
She added: “One bite at a time. #OKLife #SavoringTheJourney #ContentmentInEveryBite.” In the video, she wrote: “If you think I’m doing too much, OK. If you disagree with me, OK. If you don’t like me, OK.”
The video went viral, garnering 18K likes in just 11 hours, with many of The Family Chantel fans giving support. They say Chantel “deserves it” and feel that her divorce is a “blessing”.
Rumors say Drake DM’ed Chantel
Something that may have helped Chantel Everett along the way is her apparent DM from Drake. Though no news has come of the rumors, her viral split from Pedro Jimeno reportedly got his attention.
However, Drake has since revealed he’s dating ‘four or five’ women following romance rumors that he was dating Chantel Everett during a Howard Stern interview in October 2022.
“Drake reached out to see how she was doing and where her head was at, and she responded,” a source told Media Outlet at the time. “They’ve been DMing each other back and forth and are planning to meet.”

Chantel’s divorce from Pedro
Chantel Everett and Pedro confirmed on The Family Chantel: Final Chapter that they are divorced. At the time of the rumors, Chantel was still married, and Pedro tagged Drake songs on his Instagram Stories.
The lyrics posted to Pedro’s Story were from his Hell Ya F–king Right song, “All my exes live in Texas like I’m George Strait. Or they go to Georgia State where tuition is handled by some random [person].”
Pedro filed for divorce from Chantel on May 27, 2022 after they separated on 27 April 2022. Chantel later filed her own petition for divorce, and the home they once shared in Atlanta has now been sold.
