What Was The Inspiration Behind The Name Of Beyonce Twins?

Beyonce Twins were born on 13 June 2017 in the Los Angeles hospital in the United States Of America.

The twins were born to couple Beyonce and Jay-Z. 

The couple named the girl Rumi while the boy was named Sir.

The birth of the Beyonce Twins was announced by their maternal grandfather, Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, via a photo on Twitter and Instagram with a sweet caption.

Beyonce talked about her second pregnancy struggles and challenges in an interview for her September cover story for vogue. She wrote 

‘I was on bed rest for more than a month. I delivered Rumi and Sir. I had an emergency C-section. I was admitted to NICU for weeks. We were in bad health.’

She also opened up about how her body underwent significant changes due to her pregnancies. 

She talked about how it was difficult for her to embrace her new body.
