A Susquehanna house explosion led the family to lose their home last week.
Fortunately, the family was informed minutes before about the possibility of a gas explosion, so they left their home.
Some strong sources met the neighbors and found that the Susquehanna house explosion video was caught on their doorbell camera.
Two neighbors had spoken with strong sources, and they discussed they were in their home when the explosion occurred.
Linda Romanak, the neighbor, said, “It just sounded like there was a bomb exploding in the neighborhood. We were like, ‘Yikes, what was that?’ That’s just not a normal sound in the neighborhood.”
Bob Mitchell shared a statement in which he said, “Tremendous shockwave…The house shook. If you would’ve told me the roof caved in, I would’ve believed it.”
Bob said he took cover in his basement and couldn’t imagine what the neighborhood family would be feeling just a few days before Christmas eve.
He added all belongings of the family were destroyed, and they were left with nothing but the clothes on their back.
The other day, Romanak stepped foot outside her house to check the damage caused by the explosion.
As she walked out of her house, she saw the family’s Christmas tree and their cars in different places.
She said, “You know, this is close to Christmas? I’m sure many of their gifts were lost, as well as their pets. They had a cat that was lost, and that’s very sad too.”
The family’s lawyer released the statement after consulting with them.
When did the Susquehanna house explosion happen?
According to sources, the Susquehanna house gas explosion happened on December 13, 2022.
The family living in that house was the Barber family.
They lost everything, and their family pet was also caught in the explosion.
Fortunately, the two daughters escaped a few minutes before the explosion as they were informed about this.
The daughters watched as their house exploded.
The Barber family feels overwhelmed by all the support they are getting from their relatives, friends, and the community in which they live.
They thank everyone for helping them and supporting them during this difficult time.
The Susquehanna Township Police Department released a statement after the explosion and said the investigation to find the cause of the gas explosion is still ongoing.
