At Williams college, he was also a college baseball player. Cyrus graduated from Stanford University with a Master's Degree in Journalism in 2020.
Cyrus founded Generation Lab in 2016 to better understand and define youth research. He currently works as a founder and CEO of the company according to his LinkedIn profile. He was also named Forbes's 30 under 30 in media in 2020, according to his Forbes profile.
However, before establishing his company, Cyrus worked in various industries gaining valuable experience. He was a crew chief and counselor at Homerun Baseball Camp, an intern at President Lincoln's Cottage, and a researcher at Axios.
