Chef Edwin's Honey Banana Smoothie

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Chef Edwin reveals how making smoothies is really quite easy. All you need to do is be creative in the fruits you use, liquid and sweetener. Fruits that can be viable options include bananas, strawberries, pineapples, apples, pears, or even blueberries.

Honey or condensed milk can be used as sweeteners. However, Edwin advises people not to use too much sweetening agents because fruits contain natural sweeteners called fructose.

Meanwhile, one can use so many ingredients other than water to help liquify the smoothie such as coconut water, isotonic fluid, orange juice, pear juice, soy milk, or even soda water.

For Tempo readers, chef Edwin will share the following simple and practical nutritious smoothie recipe that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or even dinner.
