In Loving Memory of Autuan Edwards
Autuan Christopher Edwards, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, peacefully departed from this life on Monday, October 2, 2023. He was born on May 17, 1982, in Baltimore, Maryland, to his loving parents, Willie Edwards and Alice Edwards. Autuan’s journey through life was characterized by resilience and commitment to those he held dear.
Autuan received his early education in Norfolk, culminating in his graduation from Norview High School. Following his high school graduation, Autuan continued his pursuit of knowledge by enrolling at Tidewater Community College, where he earned a certificate in Computer Technology.
Autuan’s heart was most evident in the love he had for his family. His enduring memory will forever be intertwined with the profound loss of his two sisters, Dawnta’ Edwards and Tamekia Edwards, who preceded him in death. Autuan leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever be cherished by his family, including his loving parents, Father Willie (Ethel) Edwards, and Mother Alice Edwards, brother Curtis Lamont Edwards, as well as his beloved Grandmother Nancy Edwards.
Autuan’s memory will also live on through his nephews, Deante, Troy Edwards, Odis Mack, and Paton Hariston; nieces, Rashwea Edwards and Kendria Robertson-Edwards, along with his great-nephews and great-niece. He leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were deeply touched by his kindness.
Autuan Edwards may have departed this earthly life, but his memory will remain eternally alive in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
